Guide post. Dated 1805 at top of west side. Sandstone. Hexagonal in section, and approx. 3 metres high; banded rustication; straight-sided pedestal, tapered column, large triangular cap, with inscriptions on all sides and some finger-pointers:-

Cap now surmounted by ornamental wrought iron stand carrying 3 lamps.
